Pioneering a New Era of Innovation
The “Innovate in Sharjah” initiative was created by Sharjah FDI Office (Invest in Sharjah) and the Sharjah Research, Technology, and Innovation Park (SPARK) as a collaboration to put Sharjah at the forefront of innovation. This ambitious endeavor is a significant step forward in the emirate’s efforts to leverage cutting-edge innovations to drive economic growth and progress.
The two parties are dedicated to incorporating new and emerging technologies that align with Sharjah’s strategic goals. They hope to boost sustainable development and increase Sharjah’s global competitiveness by joining their skills and resources to create an environment conducive to innovation.
As part of this initiative, a number of unique opportunities will be created to link stakeholders from various industries, promoting an innovative culture that affects the emirate’s economy, from entrepreneurship to research and development.
In an important development, during the 2025 Ramadan Majlis, Invest in Sharjah and SPARK have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that will facilitate enhanced coordination between the two entities. This MOU will pave the way for deeper collaboration, strengthening Sharjah’s position as a leader in digital transformation and technological advancement.
With “Innovate in Sharjah,” the emirate invites global innovators, investors, and visionaries to join forces in shaping the future of technology, driving positive change on a global scale, and solidifying Sharjah’s standing as a prime destination for innovation and technological excellence.
